Diploma in Call Centre Management Description:

Duration: 12 Months full-time
Admissions: January, April and September

Examinations: January, May and September
Fee Structure: £2,700 per annum

Diploma in Call Centre management is specially designed as per the increasing demand of international call centres. The diploma comprises of theoretical and practical work.

Learning Skills:
The qualification is designed to enable people to prepare to work in a contact centre environment as an agent. The qualification provides the opportunity to explore the different types of contact centres and to develop skills to deal with customers/clients; provides the specialist skills needed by contact centre and call handling operators in a range of business environments. It also enables candidates to develop their IT skills and to appreciate the importance of their individual performance in the contact centre. Candidates will explore the uses of targets and performance monitoring tools and will develop themselves sufficiently to work in a contact centre environment. Candidates will also develop their communication skills and learn to work effectively as a member of a team. They will develop the skills needed to manage time, resolve problems and deal with customer complaints

Target Group:
This qualification is ideal preparation for those who are interested in taking up a career in a call handling environment.

Course Structure
This is a full time course of 12 months, out of which students are required to work at least 3 months on a project as part of their work based learning.

The course comprises of the following courses:

  • Contact centre Techniques - Level 1 (NCFE)
  • National Award in Customer Care - Level 1 (NCFE)
  • Contact Centre Techniques - Level 2 (NCFE)
  • Communication - Level 3 (NCFE)
  • Information and Communication Technology - Level 3 (NCFE)
  • Communication - Level 4 (NCFE)
  • Working with others - Level 4 (NCFE)
  • Final Project

Assessment:
The theoretical assignments will be done by NCFE National Awarding Body, and the Final project will be assessed by the Leicester College of Technology through work based learning outcomes.

Entry Requirements:
A-levels, GCSE or equivalent overseas qualification
English Language Skills to satisfactory level

NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Animation

Introduction
The NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Animation has been accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) and is part of the National Qualifications Framework.

Duration: 2 Months
Fee Structure: £450.00

Admissions: January, March, May, July, September and November

The qualification consists of three mandatory units:
Unit 01 Explore animation techniques
Unit 02 Design and plan animations
Unit 03 Produce a computer animation sequence

Candidates must successfully complete all three mandatory units to be awarded the NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Animation.

Target Group
The NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Animation is ideal for candidates 14 years and above, who wish to develop skills in animation as a way of accessing further study or to make more informed career choices. This qualification can be used to enrich and add value to the curriculum for full-time students as an introductory programme. In addition, it can be offered as a stand-alone programme within the adult and community education or via private training providers.

Entry Guidance
There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification. Access to this qualification is open to all candidates; however, a basic level of numeracy and literacy is required to comply with the Health and Safety and assessment aspects of the qualification.

Admittance onto a course of study remains at the discretion of the centre based upon the above criteria.

The NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Animation aims to provide progression towards a range of qualifications. Examples include:

NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Airline Cabin Crew
NCFE Level 2 Certificate for Airport Passenger Services Agents

Introduction
The qualification has been endorsed by bmi, the UK's second largest full service airline. bmi have indicated that the qualification meets their needs for well-trained staff and have further indicated the value of the qualification to the sector by guaranteeing an interview for those students who successfully complete the qualification and meet their minimum criteria.

NCFE also has the support of GoSkills, the developing sector skills council for the UK passenger transport industry, for the qualification.

Duration: 6 Months
Fee Structure: £750.00

Admissions: January, April and September

Guided learning hours (GLH): 180
The qualification consists of six mandatory units:
Unit 01 Understand the airline industry and the role of airline cabin crew
Unit 02 Promote effective customer care in the airline industry
Unit 03 Maintain effective team working and communications in the airline industry
Unit 04 Contribute to the Health and Safety of airline passengers
Unit 05 Contribute to aviation security
Unit 06 Demonstrate an understanding of the airport arrival process

Candidates must successfully complete all six mandatory units to be awarded the NCFE Level 2 Certificate for Airline Cabin Crew.

Target Group
The NCFE Level 2 Certificate for Airline Cabin Crew is ideal for anyone who wishes to find employment as airline cabin crew or anyone wishing to enhance their studies in Travel and Tourism.

Entry Guidance
There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification. Candidates wishing to undertake this qualification should hold an appropriate Level 1 qualification or equivalent.

Admittance onto a course of study remains at the discretion of the centre based upon the above criteria. The minimum age of entry for this qualification is 16.

Progression Opportunities
The NCFE Level 2 Certificate for Airline Cabin Crew offers progression into training provided by airlines upon commencement of employment. It also offers progression into the following qualifications:
