The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants

The ACCA Programme is designed to be completed in 3 years inclusive of examination and break weeks.

Examinations:
June and December

Admissions:
January for June Exams
May for December Exams
September for June Exams

Fee Structure:
£310 per paper

Entry Requirements:

Mature Student Entry Route (MSER)
For entry to ACCA's Professional Qualification via the MSER you must be over 21 years old. You must also pass Papers M1 and M2 (equivalent to Papers 1.1 and 1.2) within two years from the date of your first eligible ACCA examination session.

Professional Examination Route (PER) entry criteria, 1 of any below:

  • 2 A levels and 3 GCSEs (5 separate subjects including English & Mathematics)
  • CAT Level B / Intermediate Level (complete)
  • AAT (UK) Intermediate (complete)
  • BTEC National Certificate (any subject)
  • Advanced GNVQ (any subject)
  • NVQ Level 3 / 4 (any subject)
  • Degree (from a recognised institution in any subject)
  • ACCA Certified Diploma in Accounting & Finance/Diploma in Financial Management (complete)

Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) Qualification
This is ACCA's vocational, open- entry introduction to accounting. Applicants who are 18 years or older can complete ACCA's CAT qualification. There are no formal academic qualifications necessary. If you have no academic qualifications, you will be expected to complete all three Levels of the Certified Accounting Technician examinations. You will be eligible for direct entry to Part 2 of ACCA's professional examination.

ACCA / Oxford Brookes University Degree Partnership
A BSc HONOURS DEGREE IN APPLIED ACCOUNTING

ACCA's innovative partnership with Oxford Brookes University allows ACCA students to study for a BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting, while taking their ACCA examinations.
Students will be entitled to the degree (awarded by Oxford Brookes University) on completing the first two parts of the new Professional Scheme of examinations, and then submitting a Research and Analysis Project to the university for assessment. The Project examines graduate skills, focusing particularly on the ability of students to carry out research and analysis.
